My diploma is in performing arts and I was previously a children&#8217;s entertainer. If you have a love and a talent for teaching language that was enough.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>What teaching requirements would you recommend?<\/strong><br \/> <span class=\"s1\">For a Professional full time position you would need a degree and to complete french teacher training.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>What are the levels of payment?<\/strong><br \/> <span class=\"s1\">I earn 15\u20ac (approx. US$ 16.70) per hour.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>How many teaching days a week is normal?<\/strong><br \/>5 days\u00a0per week.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How many face-to-face teaching hours a week is normal?<\/strong><br \/> <span class=\"s1\">35 hours per week.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>What is the normal arrangement for holidays?<br \/> <\/strong><span class=\"s1\">Generally bank holidays and school holidays.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>What advice would you give to someone considering coming to Morez, France to teach English?<\/strong><br \/> B<span class=\"s1\">ring loads of baked beans, they cost about 5 times as much here you could make a fortune!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>What are the positive aspects of teaching English in Morez, France?<\/strong><br \/><span class=\"s1\">People are generally really interested to learn and they really love english culture.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>What are the negative aspects for teaching English in Morez, France?<\/strong><br \/><span class=\"s1\">There are a lot of stereotypes about english people and you have to prove that you an cook good food.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>What are some of the teaching challenges for English teachers teaching the local people in your area?<\/strong><br \/> T<span class=\"s1\">here are very few english people or opportunities for english immersion.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>Living in Morez, France:<\/h4>\n<p><strong>Are there any visa or other legal requirements to live in France?<\/strong><br \/><span class=\"s1\">No visa required for EU citizens, I don&#8217;t really know about non EU.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>What is the cost of living like in France?<\/strong><br \/> <span class=\"s1\">It&#8217;s more expensive where I am because I live on the border but generally its ok.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>What are the usual accommodation arrangements and how can you find accommodation?<br \/><\/strong><span class=\"s1\">You can easily find rentals online.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Other than teaching, what positive aspects are there for living in Morez, France?<br \/><\/strong><span class=\"s1\">Beautiful beautiful scenery and cheap skiing in the winter!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Other than teaching, what negative aspects are there for living in\u00a0scenery, France?<\/strong><br \/> V<span class=\"s1\">ery remote and hard to find clothes for tall people.
