Experience with children.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What are the levels of payment?<\/strong><br \/>&#8211; private or for companies: 20-40 euro\/hour<br \/>&#8211; private kindergarten\/elementary school: 7-10 euro\/hour<br \/>&#8211; English schools: 10-15 euro\/hour<\/p>\n<p><strong>How many teaching days a week is normal?<\/strong><br \/>5 days per week.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How many face-to-face teaching hours a week is normal?<\/strong><br \/>30 hours per week.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What is the normal arrangement for holidays?<br \/><\/strong>If you&#8217;re under a full time contract, you get paid. Very economic.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Other than teaching, what negative aspects are there for living in Turin, Italy?<\/strong><br \/>The attitude of the average person is: frustrated, a bit negative, and wound up.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What advice would you give to someone considering coming to Turin, Italy?<\/strong><br \/>Don&#8217;t compare Italians and the systems here to the one&#8217;s in your home country. There are many great aspects to this country, as there are many bad ones. Don&#8217;t focus on the negative aspects.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What things do you miss most (other than family and friends) from your home country?<\/strong><br \/>Efficiency.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What do you think you will miss most when (or if) you leave Turin, Italy?<\/strong><br \/>The culture.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What things would you recommend to new teachers in your area to bring with them from their home country?<\/strong><br \/>English books!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>About Me and My Work:<\/h4>\n<p><strong>My Name<\/strong>: Stefi<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nationality<\/strong>: Canadian<\/p>\n<p><strong>Students I&#8217;ve taught in Italy<\/strong>: Toddlers (2-4 years), pre-school \/ kindergarten (4-6 years), elementary (6-12 years), junior high school (12-15 years), adults.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Where I teach<\/strong>: Privately. I used to work at a kindergarten and got all my contacts for private lessons through the school. Working here for 3 years.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How I found my current jobs<\/strong>: I started doing solely private lessons because I accumulated contacts during my time at the kindergarten.<\/p>\n<p><strong>My school facilities<\/strong>: Good &#8211; Private schools can vary.
