Now all of our lesson plans are fully illustrated

Lesson plans with illustrationsOur lesson plans now come with lovely illustrations which provides a visual element to the different teaching points of the lesson.

Each point of the lesson plan has an accompanying illustration depicting the teacher and students in various stages of the lesson.  We hope this will help teachers visualize the lesson activities and make the lesson plans more attractive and appealing.  Our lesson plans are free to download.

All of our 50 songs now have British English versions!

American English and now British English songs on ESL KidStuff!

ESL Kids songs in American and British English

We have added British English versions to all of our songs, so we now have American English and British English versions of each song. The British English versions are sung by British singers and in some cases the lyrics have been changed slightly into British English vocab.  Head on over to our songs page to download the new versions:

Using graded readers in the ESL kids classroom

Using classroom readersKids love stories.  Pulling out a classroom reader in the middle of your lesson is a sure fire way of instantly catching all of your students’ attention – in my class it usually starts off a mad scramble as kids rush to the front of the class to get a position as close to me as possible.  What better motivation for learning and reinforcing new language?

This article will give some background into the positive effects of using classroom readers in your ESL classroom, and then provide a few tips on how to use classroom readers as part of your lesson routine.
